NEW DELHI: Former India all-rounder Yuvraj Singh Teenage batting sensation Vaibhav Sooryavanshi has been given a new nickname – “Terminator 6” – and said he would love to mentor the youngster as he did in the India opener Abhishek Sharma.Yuvraj believes the 15-year-old is a “serious player in the making” and has a bright future ahead.Sooryavanshi recently made his senior India debut in the T20I series against England. Earlier this year, he also broke Yuvraj’s record for the fastest List A fifty by an Indian, reaching the milestone in just 11 balls during the India A vs Sri Lanka A Tri-Series final.
‘After Terminator 4 comes Terminator 6’
Speaking to Star Sports, Yuvraj explained why he called Abhishek Sharma “Terminator 4” and revealed that Sooryavanshi has earned the title of “Terminator 6.”“I have always called myself Terminator. Now there is Terminator 4, Abhishek Sharma, who is four times better than me. And after him comes Terminator 6, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, who has improved even more.Yuvraj said that he has already spent a lot of time working with Abhishek and hopes Vaibhav will do the same. Drawing a comparison with modern tennis stars, he said the game continues to evolve with each generation.“When I watch Sinner and Alcaraz, I see how tennis has changed.
