The Tamil Nadu Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) has released the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) MBA Ranking List 2026 on the official website tn-mbamca.com. Candidates who have registered for the counseling process can now check and download the rank list by logging in through the candidate portal.The TANCET 2026 ranking list is prepared on the basis of the marks obtained by the candidates in the MBA entrance exam. As per the coaching rules, the candidate with the highest percentile score is awarded the highest rank. The ranking list will determine the order in which candidates are called upon to participate in the consultation process.As per the consultation schedule, the grievance redressal window will be open till July 20, 2026. Counseling for special category candidates will begin on July 23 and MBA counseling will be conducted from July 30 to August 5, 2026.

TANCET 2026 Tie Rules
If two or more candidates get the same marks in TANCET 2026 exam, the Directorate of Technical Education will adopt tie-breaker rule to decide their ranking. Candidates with higher scores in each section will get better ranking. If a tie persists, the older candidate will be ranked higher in the ranking list based on date of birth.TANCET 2026 rank list includes important details such as candidate’s rank, application number, name, gender, date of birth, marks and community rank. Candidates are advised to carefully verify all the information mentioned in the rank list and complete the subsequent counseling process within the stipulated time.
