During promotional events, the actor jokingly spoke about his political ambitions and envisioned himself becoming the chief minister of Kerala one day.

At the event, Dhyan talked about reuniting with Navya Nair after a few years for a film. He joked that although Navya is now married and has a child, he still has a wish if he becomes the chief minister.As quoted by Cinema Express, Dhyan while addressing the audience said, “We came together (to make the film) when Navya got married and had a son. Even so, when I become chief minister and take oath of office, I want Navya to be sitting in the front row wearing a sari with tears in her eyes. “Although Dhyan did not mention Vijay Or Trisha during her speech, many social media users interpreted the joke as an indirect reference to Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay’s swearing-in ceremony, where Trisha appeared in a sari and looked emotional.

The actor also shared how he first thought of joining politics. He recalled that the idea came about after Vijay became the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu.As quoted by Mathrubhumi while sharing the story, Dhyan said, “In the past few days, I was less focused on films and more focused on stage shows and commercials. During one such stage show, I was in Australia. When Vijay became the chief minister of Tamil Nadu, I decided to become a chief minister in the next 15 years. That’s when Aju Varghese called me and said, ‘Don’t try to become the chief minister first.'” Take the first step by becoming AMMA President.He also said that I can become the chief minister later after doing charity work and impressing people. “ He added that rumors about his entry into AMMA’s leadership began circulating while he was abroad.“While I was in Australia, reports began to circulate that I might move into the leadership of AMMA. He said I should not become AMMA president or chief minister and the ideal job for me would be governor as there were not many jobs.”The actor also shared his mother’s reaction after hearing reports that he could become AMMA president.“My mother said, ‘Son, I heard you were going to be president of AMMA. This should never happen.’ She told me that the reason my father didn’t become president was because straight people couldn’t hold the position. Sometimes, you have to turn a blind eye to something, she said. I had no idea what she meant. But my mentor has always maintained that a person who wants to become the chief minister should first become the president of AMMA.
