The singer shared the news with fans on Sunday via a video recorded from her hospital bed, choosing to announce the news with humor.Jaan, the son of a veteran playback singer Kumar SanuIt was not revealed when he first developed symptoms or how long he is expected to remain under medical observation.Jain shared the video on social media and wrote, “China se aaya mera dost 🦇 Covid ko salaam karo.”He also joked about his hospital experience, writing: “Fit check – wearing my favorite designer brand: Kokilaben. According to reports, health authorities have detected eight active cases in YSR Kadapa district in recent weeks. Two patients who tested positive reportedly died while receiving treatment.Following the latest cases, district authorities have stepped up surveillance and deployed rapid response teams to collect samples in affected areas. Reports indicate that about 40 samples have been collected, 18 of which have tested negative, while the remaining results are still awaited.Some samples were also sent to a laboratory in Pune for genome sequencing to identify circulating variants and better understand their transmission patterns.Health authorities advise residents not to panic but to continue taking basic precautions, including wearing a mask in crowded places, practicing hand hygiene and seeing a doctor if they develop coronavirus-like symptoms.Further updates on Jaan Kumar Sanu’s health condition are awaited.
