During the latest episode of The Lady Gang, the 40-year-old actress revealed the good news that she and Martin recently welcomed their second child, daughter Meyer June Martin. She opened up about the affair to co-hosts Keltie Knight and Jac Vanek, revealing how she and Martin are awaiting the arrival of their baby girl on August 26. However, their surrogate mother Katie ended up suffering from pre-eclampsia. She explained that this was a complication of the pregnancy, so she had to be induced early.The actress announced back in April that her family of three was expected to grow soon as they opted to have another child via surrogate. During the podcast, she even revealed that she also had the opportunity to be part of the birth, which was something very special for her.Recalling the moment her daughter was born on July 19, she shared, “The doctor or the midwife looked at me and said, ‘Do you want to have the baby?’ and I was like, ‘Um, yeah,’ and she handed me the gloves. I put the gloves on her. I stood at the bottom and she said, ‘That’s her head,’ and I put my hands on her head; and all of a sudden, Katie wasn’t even pushing anymore. She was like something was going on. This baby slipped out, and the midwife and I were just holding the baby like we were.”“

The actress then detailed how she and Martin came up with their child’s name. She mentioned, “So we were like, we were doing a last name. I knew I wanted to use Joan as a middle name. That’s my grandmother, who I was very close to. And then my grandmother’s dad, my great-grandfather, his name was Meyer, which means bringer of light in Hebrew.”The couple also welcomed their first son, Rutherford ‘Ford’ Thomas Martin, via surrogate in 2022. Tobin opened up about her journey as a mother, saying that before all this she suffered two miscarriages and had to deal with a lot of fertility issues.
