Amid the ongoing protests against the NEET paper leaks, several celebrities have come out in support of the CJP, including current actor Meerra Chopraa. Priyanka ChopraHer cousin expressed her displeasure after a PPP protester allegedly used abusive language towards the Prime Minister Narendra Modi during demonstrations. On Thursday, Priyanka Chopra’s cousin retweeted a video on X, formerly known as Twitter, that appeared to show a woman making the remarks through a microphone. The initial post claimed that the woman seen in the video was a NEET level holder.Reacting to the video, Meera questioned the actions of the protesters and wrote: “Is this the youth of today? Ya neet ki students? Plz batao kaun sa Youth hai ye???”Mehra has previously publicly supported students involved in the ongoing protests, urging authorities to pay attention to their concerns. She described them as the future of the country and stressed that their voices deserved to be heard. At the same time, she warned political parties not to exploit the movement for personal gain and said students should not become tools in political struggles.

“Listen to students. They are not just protesters, they are the future of this country. Their real concerns must be heard, understood and addressed. But we must also recognize those who seek to fire political guns over their own shoulders. No political party, whether #CJP or #AAP, should be allowed to hijack students’ fight for their own agenda. A child’s future is not a political weapon. Let students’ voices be heard, but don’t let politicians or wannabe politicians use them,” she wrote.The ongoing CJP protests have also elicited reactions from some people in the film industry. Celebrities include Salman Khan, Alia Bhatt, Naseeruddin Shah, Sonakshi Sinha Diljit Dosanjh and others offered support to the students and called for peaceful dialogue to address their concerns.The demonstrations at Jantar Mantar began earlier this month as students expressed concerns over alleged irregularities in competitive exams, including the NEET question paper leak controversy. Protesters have been demanding reforms in the education system and the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
