2026 Maruti Brezza Launched at Rs 7.40 Lakh: Engine, Features & More
Maruti Suzuki India has launched an updated version Brezza. The model, as part of this update, comes with slightly revised styling, new technology, additional safety features and a new engine option. The refreshed SUV continues to compete with Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV 3XO and Škoda Kylaq. Here’s everything you need to know.
2026 Maruti Suzuki Brezza: Design and Cabin
From the outside, the changes are subtle. The facelifted Brezza gets a redesigned front fascia with dark chrome accents, a new front bumper, updated fog lamp housings and newly designed alloy wheels. Buyers can also opt for two-tone body cladding, while the rear design remains largely unchanged from the outgoing model.The biggest updates are inside the cabin. The dashboard has been redesigned around the larger 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The new setup supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and is paired with the ARKAMYS premium audio system. The higher-spec ZXi+ variants also get ARKAMYS Surround Sense, Suzuki’s Next Gen Connect telematics package with built-in Alexa, wireless software updates and voice commands activated by a “Hi Suzuki” wake-up phrase. The instrument panel has also been upgraded with a color TFT screen on the ZXi and ZXi+ variants.Maruti has also improved the comfort and convenience package. The updated Brezza now offers ventilated front seats, wireless smartphone charger with active cooling, automatic climate control, air purifier with PM2.5 display, power sunroof, 64-color ambient lighting on the top variant, leatherette upholstery in dark brown and black finishes, soft-touch dashboard, power sunroof and 360-degree camera.
2026 Maruti Suzuki Brezza: Safety
Security is getting one of the biggest upgrades. The Brezza becomes only the third Maruti Suzuki model in India to offer Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), after the Victoris ie Vitara. Depending on the variant, the SUV is available with features such as blind spot warning with lane change assist, rear cross traffic warning, safe exit warning, front parking sensors and a tire pressure monitoring system. Standard safety equipment across the range includes six airbags, an electronic stability program with Hill Hold Assist, ISOFIX child seat mounts, front seat belt pre-tensioners with force limiters and reversing sensors with info display.
2026 Maruti Suzuki Brezza: Powertrain
Under the hood, the SUV can be had with a new 1.0-liter Boosterjet turbo-petrol engine mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. This unit develops 110 HP and 170 Nm.The Brezza also continues with the 1.5-litre NA petrol engine (103 PS, 140 Nm) with Smart Hybrid technology. It is available with a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic with paddle shifters, with the automatic claiming a fuel consumption of 20.17 kmpl. Buyers looking for a CNG option can opt for the factory-fitted S-CNG version, which delivers a claimed efficiency of 26.90km/kg while retaining useful boot space thanks to the underbody arrangement of the cylinders.Dimensionally, the Brezza remains unchanged, with a length of 3,995 mm, 1,790. The refreshed Brezza will be offered in four versions: LXi, VXi, ZXi and ZXi+. Buyers can choose from seven exterior colors, including new Vivacious Orange and Lustrous Beige hues, in addition to Pearl Arctic White, Sizzling Red, Splendid Silver, Magma Gray and Bluish Black. Two-tone options with a bluish-black roof will also be available. Maruti Suzuki offers a standard warranty of three years or 1,00,000 km, which can be extended up to six years.
