Captain of India Shreyas Iyer won the toss and elected to bowl first against England in the fifth and final T20I at Southampton on Sunday, making two changes to the playing XI.Suryansh Shedge replaces Washington Sundar, while Sanju Samson returns to the side in place of Vaibhav Sooryavanshi.Explaining the decision to skip, Iyer said the team opted for the chase after assessing the conditions.“We will bowl first. Based on the bowling we have done in the last two games, we have experienced almost everything. It was a bit windy and we were told that the wicket would not change much, so we decided to bowl first,” said Shreyas Iyer during the toss. “I just want the guys to give 100 percent effort regardless of the result. Stay in the moment, relax and try to get the best out of yourself,” added Iyer. Captain of England Harry Brookwhose side leads the five-match series 3-1, said the win would take his team to the top of the ICC T20I rankings.“If we win today, we’ll go world No. 1, so we’re definitely looking at a prize. We’ve adjusted well throughout the series and we want to finish strong,” Brook said. Brook also praised the veteran leg-spinner Adil Rashidwho is making his 150th T20I appearance for England.
