The Uttar Pradesh Education Services Selection Commission (UPESSC) is expected to announce the results of the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) 2026 soon. Thousands of candidates who appeared for the exam are waiting for the release of their scorecards and transcript PDFs.The commission is yet to announce an official date for the announcement of results. UPTET 2026 Result Update for Teaching Aspirants
The UPTET exam is a qualifying test for candidates who aspire to become teachers in primary and upper primary government schools in Uttar Pradesh. After the examination, the evaluation process is underway and the result preparation process is expected to enter its final stages.Candidates who qualify for the exam will be issued a UPTET certificate which will be valid for life as per the updated validity rules.The exam is conducted at two levels. UPTET qualifying score for different categories
Candidates must achieve the minimum qualifying marks prescribed by the Commission to pass the qualifying test.Candidates under the general category need to secure 60% marks, which means at least 90 marks out of 150. Candidates belonging to reserved categories, including Other Backward Classes (OBC), Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST), need to score 55%.For reserved candidates, the qualification requirement is 82.5 points. According to the examination calculation rules, it is generally 82 points (full score is 150 points).
