Actor and Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has been discharged from Mumbai’s Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital after undergoing shoulder surgery. After he was discharged from the hospital, his wife Anna Lezhneva shared an update on his health and thanked his doctors.

Anna Lezhneva shared photos from the hospital on her Instagram account. Thanking the medical team, she wrote: “Today, we are finally discharged from the hospital and my heart is full of gratitude.”She further wrote: “A heartfelt thank you to this incredible team for taking such great care of my husband and performing his surgery with the highest level of skill and professionalism. Knowing he was in the best possible care has given our family something priceless – peace of mind.”She thanked the doctors for their kindness and dedication, adding: “Thank you not only for your expertise, but also for your kindness, dedication and compassion throughout this journey. We will be forever grateful.”

Pawan Kalyan’s health update

The “They Call Him OG” star underwent surgery on July 11 for a long-standing rotator cuff injury in his right shoulder. The surgery lasted about three and a half hours. After doctors confirmed that he was recovering well, he was discharged from the hospital on July 15.According to a statement from the Jana Sena Party, Pawan suffered severe rotator cuff injuries in both shoulders, which remained untreated for years. He has now undergone surgery on his right shoulder and is expected to have surgery on his left shoulder in about two months.Doctors recommended he start physical therapy three weeks after surgery. They also said it could take about four months for the shoulder that underwent surgery to fully recover. After recovery, Pawan Kalyan will return home to Hyderabad and slowly resume work.On the acting front, he was last seen in the Harish Shankar-directed film Ustaad Bhagat Singh. Sreeleela and Raashii Khanna play key roles. The film is releasing in theaters along with Ranveer Singh’s Durandhar: The Revenge.Going forward, he is expected to reunite with director Sujith for the sequel to They Call Him OG.
