Tarapati Vijay‘s “Jana Nayagan” witnessed a strong revival at the box office on its first Saturday. After suffering losses on Friday, the action entertainer bounced back with a third day of strong collection growth.According to Sacnilk, the film earned a net revenue of Rs 2,850 crore in India on Saturday. This is a 34.8% increase from the Rs 21.15 million raised on Day 2.The three-day run helped the film take a step closer to the Rs 100-crore net box office milestone in India.

Net worth of Indian collections is nearly 1 billion rupees

As per Saturday’s earnings, ‘Jana Nayagan’ has netted Rs 923.5 crore in India in the first three days. The film has currently collected Rs 108.34 crore at the box office in India. Overseas, the Vijay-starrer’s film collected another Rs 20 crore on its third day at the box office. Its international total now stands at Rs 635 million.Combining domestic and international box office data, the film’s global box office revenue has climbed to 171.84 billion rupees. The film screened 12,299 times on Saturday.The language collection is dominated by the Tamil version, which contributed Rs 244 million. The total revenue of the Hindi version was Rs 270 crore, while the total revenue of the Telugu version was Rs 140 crore.

Increased occupancy throughout the day

The overall occupancy rate for the third day of the Tamil version was 61.04%. The occupancy rate at the start of the morning show was 42.92%, rising to 59.31% in the afternoon. Evening occupancy increased further to 67.00%, while nighttime performances reached an impressive 74.92%.The overall occupancy rate for the Hindi version was 16.39%. The occupancy rate was 7.08% during the morning opening and 27.00% during the evening show.Meanwhile, the overall occupancy rate of the Telugu version was 22.58%. Attendance increased from 15.64% in the morning to 30.18% at the last show of the day.

Tamil Nadu continues push for collections

Tamil Nadu contributed Rs 20 crore to the box-office collection, making it the highest-grossing region for the Vijay starrer.Among other regions, Karnataka collected Rs 475 crore while rest of India recorded Rs 40 million. Kerala saw an increase of Rs 2.5 billion, while Andhra Pradesh and Telangana combined saw an increase of Rs 2.09 billion. These figures bring the film’s total box office collection to Rs 33.34 crore on its third day of release in India.
