ICAI launches 65th phase of campus placement scheme for newly qualified CAs, announces 5,339 vacancies
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced the 65th campus placement scheme for newly qualified chartered accountants, mainly for candidates who have cleared the CA final exam to be held in May 2026. The placement program will connect eligible candidates with organizations across multiple sectors through a structured recruitment platform.The scheme has received registrations from 6,399 newly qualified Chartered Accountants out of 7,931 candidates who passed the CA final exam in May 2026. In the first phase, 78 organizations participated and 5,339 vacancies have been advertised for job seekers to find career opportunities.The resettlement program covers 29 centersThe ICAI campus placement program will provide recruitment opportunities in the fields of finance, taxation, auditing, consulting, risk management, analytics, banking, manufacturing and information technology.On-site interviews will be conducted in 29 centers in India between August and September 2026. Introduce technology-based recruitment processThe placement program is designed to serve as a technology-driven platform to connect newly qualified chartered accountants with employers, ICAI said. The program includes employer outreach, candidate orientation programmes, psychometric and competency assessments, career counseling and industry-focused capacity building programmes.ICAI Chairman CA. Prasanna Kumar D said the placement program provides a platform to leading employers to recruit professionally trained Chartered Accountants and enables candidates to explore career opportunities across industries and locations.Previous placement performanceThe 63rd campus placement program conducted during April and May 2026 provided placement to over 2,570 candidates.
