Best-selling author Harlan Coben’s book is being adapted into a live-action series, and the cast has been announced. The show, based on his book series featuring the famous character Myron Bolita, has already caused quite a stir online since the project was first confirmed. Netflix recently confirmed that the official cast of Myron Bolita has been announced, with actor Colin Woodall, best known for his performance in Continental, set to play Myron Bolita in the new series. Joining him will be “Riverdale” star KJ Apa, as well as Diane Guerrero, Jabari Banks, Chloe Fineman, Jamie McShane, Ben McKenzie and many more. The news was also surprising, as Fineman announced his exit from “Saturday Night Live” about a week ago.Emmy and Golden Globe award-winning writer and producer David E. Kelley is behind the project. Greg Yaitanes has also been confirmed to star in the series, as he will serve as director on many episodes.

Myron Bolita is one of Harlan Cobain’s most famous characters. He first appeared in the 1955 novel “Deal Breakers,” and went on to appear in 12 other books in which he was the protagonist. Myron is a former college basketball star whose NBA career was shattered by one incident. The book tells his story as he grew older and reinvented himself into one of the leading sports agents in the industry. However, there is always a twist, as his job also involves investigating murders, threats, blackmail attempts and more.The author also talked about how it was a great opportunity to see all of his characters on the big screen. He shared a statement on the same, saying “What an honor, and not to mention, so much fun, to be working with the legendary David E. Kelley and his incredible team at Netflix on this exciting new series. Myron Bolita’s books mean so much to me, and I’m so excited to have such a talented and inspired team bring them to life.”The show’s official release date has yet to be announced to the public. This isn’t the first time Coburn’s books have been adapted into live-action movies. Works such as “I Will Find You,” “Fool Me Once” and “Run Away” were inspired by his books and iconic characters.
