WBJEE 2026 Round 2 Allotment: The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) is scheduled to release the WBJEE Second Round Seat Allotment Result 2026 today (July 21, 2026). Candidates participating in the counseling process will be able to check their allotment status by logging into the WBJEEB official portal using their credentials.Distribution links are expected to be activated between 12 noon and 4 p.m. After the results are announced, candidates can download the provisional allocation letter and go through the admission procedures within the specified period. After logging in with WBJEE roll number, password and security code, candidates can check the allotted colleges and courses. The provisional allotment letter should be downloaded and retained for future use during admission procedures.Post-assignment admissions processNewly allotted candidates will have to pay a non-refundable seat acceptance fee of Rs 5,000 through available online payment modes to confirm their allotted seat. Candidates whose allotment has been upgraded should download the revised allotment notice and report to the newly allotted college.Candidates who are not satisfied with the current allotment and wish to continue with the counseling process can register for the 3rd round of clearance scheduled between July 24 and July 26.Reporting requirements and seat assignmentsAs per the counseling guidelines, candidates opting for freeze or upgrade option must report in person to the allotted institution for document verification after paying the seat admission fee. Failure to complete the field report within the deadline will result in automatic cancellation of the assigned seat.The counseling process also reserves 10% approved seats in participating self-financed institutions for candidates who have qualified through JEE Main. During the verification process, candidates must ensure that all documents including proof of residence, class card and proof of income (if applicable) match the details submitted at the time of registration.
