NEET UG 2026 Cutoff Released Along with Result; Check Category Passing Score, Percentile
this National testing agency (NTA) has released the NEET UG 2026 cutoff as well as the NEET UG 2026 result statement. Candidates who appeared for the Undergraduate Medical Admissions Examination can now check their scorecards and qualifying marks on the official website.This cutoff specifies the minimum percentile and score required to qualify for the admission counseling process of MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, B.Sc. Nursing and other undergraduate medical courses. The results and eligibility criteria will be announced on July 16, 2026.
NEET UG 2026 Cutoff: Qualifying Marks by Category
Eligibility criteria are based on percentile criteria prescribed by the National Medical Council (NMC). Along with qualifying percentile, NTA also announces corresponding scores for each category.
Candidates who secure marks within the prescribed cut-off range for their respective categories will be eligible for the counseling process.
NTA releases data on eligible candidates by category
Apart from the cut-off, NTA also announced the number of qualified candidates under different categories.
The agency has clarified that the numbers represent candidates who fit the categories mentioned in the official scorecard. Separately, NTA said that more than 11.21 lakh candidates have qualified for NEET UG 2026 in all categories.
Compared with last year, the admission score has improved
NEET UG 2026 qualifying marks have improved significantly compared to the previous year, especially for the general category candidates.
