The visitors made one change to their playing XI, with Ishan Kishan coming in as Rahul’s replacement.England captain Harry Brook won the toss and elected to bowl first, hoping the conditions would work. India, on the other hand, said they wanted to bowl again but were forced to change due to Rahul’s absence. Confirming the reason for the toss, Indian captain Shubman Gill said, “We should have bowled first. Well done and very happy. We had a perfect game, hopefully we will do it again today. We started well and it was good to see the fast bowlers doing well. Great memories here. We have a replacement, KL is sick and Ishan will come in for him.”Rahul’s illness meant that Ishan Kishan returned to the ODI side, taking over the wicket-keeping duties.
