Although they have divorced, they still remain friends and look out for each other in the “alliance.” In the latest episode, Sohail recounts a deeply personal memory as he reveals the story behind the name of their eldest son, Nirvaan Khan.The conversation started when wild card contestant Aly Goni praised Sohail and Seema’s sons Nirvaan and Yohaan Khan, calling them very polite. He also noted that Nirvaan is very similar to his father. The words made Sohail recall how he and Seema came up with the name for their son.Sharing the anecdote, Sohail said, “When Seema was pregnant with Nirvaan, tab humne masti mazak main decided kiya tha ki agar Ladka hua toh main naam rakhunga aur Ladki hui toh Seema would name her. Mera yeh tha, ki main aapne bete ka naam Ram Khan rakhna chahta tha. This way we were very worldly (when Seema While pregnant) Nirvaan, we decided jokingly that if we had a boy, I would choose his name and if we had a girl, Seema would name her, I wanted to name my son Ram Khan.However, after the birth of their son, this plan changed. Recalling the moment, Sohail added, “When Seema came to after giving birth, she also had a name in mind. The doctor said it was a boy, so I came into the room and she looked at me, a little drowsily, and said, ‘How about Nirvaan?'” She said it in a way that I don’t want to change. “He further said that Nirvaan’s personality reflected the meaning of his name, describing his elder son as a calm, peaceful and collected person.Sohail Khan and Seema Sajdeh got married in 1998 after eloping against their family’s wishes. During their marriage, they gave birth to two sons: Nirvaan and Yohaan. The couple officially divorced in 2022 after more than two decades together, but continued to maintain a cordial relationship while raising their children together.After Seema joined “Alliance,” Sohail spoke about the equation they shared today, saying that while their relationship has changed over the years, his respect for her has remained the same. He also revealed that both Nirvaan and Yohaan live with him and Seema visits their house three times a week to spend time with them.
