While the scene looked seamless on screen, it was actually performed by Aishwarya’s stunt double, Sanober Pardiwalla, who has now revealed that the stunt almost ended in disaster.Sanob shared a behind-the-scenes video from the 2010 film on Instagram, recounting how an unforeseen complication left her stranded in the middle of a cliff during filming.Sharing the video, she wrote, “150 feet. 3.5 seconds. A stunt I will never forget. During this cliff dive in Raavan, an unexpected complication left me suspended in the middle of the cliff for nearly 30 minutes. ” She explains that she decided to revisit the incident to reveal a little-known side of stunt work – what happens when a carefully planned action sequence takes an unexpected turn.“In stunt work, preparation isn’t just about performing a stunt. It’s about what you do when the unexpected happens. Stay calm. Control your breathing. Trust the safety systems. Conserve your energy,” she wrote. Recalling the tense experience, she added, “This is what I did—suspended next to the waterfall, breathing shallowly, remaining completely calm…and seeing a view from this perspective that few people get to see.“Her composure ultimately helped her get through the ordeal, and the stunt later earned her a nomination for the prestigious Taurus World Stunt Award. Looking back on the experience, Sanob said: “Some stunts test the body, and some stunts test the soul.
