Shashi Ranjan praises film’s emotional depth

Speaking to IANS, Shashi said, “After a long time, I watched a film that gave me a triple reaction. First, I was very moved after watching the film. Secondly, the story and the way it was made completely surprised me. After many years, I came across a film with such beautiful narrative and strong emotions. Among all the films released in the past few years, this is one of the best films I have seen.”“I believe that banning films of any kind serves no purpose and causes more harm. When a film is banned, it creates curiosity as to why it was banned. I don’t think showing history to today’s youth will lead them in the wrong direction. I strongly disagree with that view. There are many films that highlight the darker chapters of history. I don’t think today’s educated young audiences will be distracted after watching a film like this. I find it a pity that the film has been removed from OTT platforms and I hope it comes back soon. ” added Shashi Ranjan.
