It provides a step-by-step process for applying for board examinations, paying fees, submitting and verifying documents, and making revisions, in addition to the deadlines set by the board. Candidates are strongly advised to know the exact dates and not miss any stage to avoid being charged fees for late applications.Self-study candidates must submit their examination forms through designated forwarding centres.

The board has fixed August 5, 2026 as the last date for submission of application forms and stipulation of examination fees. Candidates who fail to complete the application within the stipulated time can apply only after paying a late fee of Rs 100.

UPMSP has implemented a clear timeline that allows them to complete each stage of the exam registration process efficiently. After submitting the form, the forwarding center will be responsible for paying the exam fee to the state treasury and uploading the candidate’s educational qualifications.With the announcement of the time frame, the Board has also opened the verification and correction phase to give both educational institutions and candidates the opportunity to correct any errors or changes that may have been made by the submitters during the process before the final list of candidates is finalized.The key dates announced by the Board are:

UPMSP has also announced the examination fees applicable to different categories of self-study candidates. For Class 10 individual candidates, the examination fee is fixed at Rs.706.50. Candidates in the credit-based system will be required to pay Rs 306.50, while candidates opting for additional subjects will have to pay Rs 206.50 for each subject.For Class 12 individual candidates, including those who failed in agriculture and vocational categories, the examination fee has been fixed at Rs 806.50. Students who opt for additional subjects in the intermediate examination will also have to pay Rs 206.50 for each additional subject.
Verification and correction process
To minimize errors in examination records, UPMSP has allotted a dedicated verification period from August 21 to August 31, during which candidate details uploaded by forwarding centers will be scrutinized. There will be a revision period, which will provide an extended grace period for schools that may need to change the details they submit. September 1 to September 10 is the window during which institutions can change or correct erroneous entries after submitting all requirements before registration is finalized.On the other hand, the board has also asked the forwarding center to upload not only the list of candidates’ photos and documents but also bank funds letters to the relevant offices before September 30, 2026, to complete the registration process for next year’s board exams (up to 2027).Candidates are advised to complete relevant procedures on timeThe registration process is currently ongoing, and self-study candidates are advised to complete their application before the August 5 deadline to avoid paying late fees and ensure sufficient time to verify and correct their records.
