UPSC CMS Admit Card 2026 is out

Federal Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the Admit Card for the Comprehensive Medical Services (CMS) Examination 2026. Candidates who have applied for the exam can now download the e-admit card from the official website upsconline.nic.in.The 2026 CMS exam will be held on August 2, 2026 (Sunday). It will be conducted in various centers in the country.UPSC has made it clear that it will not send physical or paper admit cards to candidates. The electronic admission ticket is the only version issued and candidates must download and print it in advance. This printout must be kept securely until the final results of the 2026 CMS exam are announced.

Items that candidates must bring to the exam center

According to a press release issued by UPSC, candidates must bring the following items to the examination hall:

The photo ID mentioned on the e-admit ticket must be produced at the time of admission. If the photo on the electronic admission ticket is not clear, you need to bring a photo ID and two passport-size photos. The committee also stated that venue supervisors will not arrange any place to store these prohibited items. Therefore, if candidates carry any such items, they must make arrangements to keep them outside and UPSC will not be liable for any loss.Only ordinary or simple watches are allowed to be worn in the examination room. Smart watches or watches with any special features that can be used for communication or cheating are strictly prohibited. Computers are also not allowed for objective-type exams.Candidates are specifically told to carry a black ball pen with them. This pen must be used to fill in the OMR answer sheets of both papers as well as the attendance list. UPSC mentions that no other pen can be used for this purpose.

Check-in time and admission rules

Candidates are advised to arrive at the exam venue at least one and a half hours before the exam starts. This time will be used for face authentication, identity verification and body search.Admission gates will close 30 minutes before the exam starts. This means:

Candidates are also not allowed to appear at any center other than the center mentioned on their e-admit card.The UPSC also warned that strict action will be taken if a candidate is found carrying a mobile phone or any other electronic or communication device, even if it is switched off. This may include disqualification of candidacy, FIR or police complaint, and ban from appearing in the remaining examination or examination days. Changed your name? Here’s what to do

If any candidate has legally changed their name after applying for the exam, they must bring a government-issued photo ID showing the changed name. This document must be produced at the exam center for each exam. Without it, candidates may not be allowed into the exam room.UPSC has asked all candidates to check whether the name, photo and QR code on the e-admit card are correct.
