The live-action adaptation of the God of War series has been in full swing. However, according to new reports, Ryan Hurst was injured while filming some scenes for the upcoming show.
Ryan Hurst injured while filming God of War
TMZ recently reported that Ryan Hurst, who is set to play the lead role of Kratos, was injured on the set of the live-action God of War series. The actor reportedly ended up tearing his bicep while he was on set filming a demanding stunt.After examination, reports stated that the actor required surgery to deal with the injury. As a result, with Hearst starring in the upcoming series, the production date has been pushed back. The studio expects him to recover and return to set by mid-August, however, due to the nature of the injury, it will take considerable time and effort for the actor to return to set in top shape.While there hasn’t been any comment on the production process, it’s been reported that filming and overall production of the show could be delayed until 2027. Filming had been taking place in Vancouver before the incident.The actor is yet to make any statement on the matter.

When he realized the truth, he wreaked havoc on the Greek pantheon and fought some of the most powerful gods in the realm. The live-action film will follow the journey of Kratos and his son Atreus to scatter the ashes of Feyre (his wife) from the highest peak in the realms.In addition to Hearst, a number of cast members have already been announced, including Callum Vinson as Atreus, Teresa Palmer as Silvermax Parker as Heimdall, Olafur Darry Olafson as Thor, Mandy Patinkin as Odin, Ed Skrein as Bodel, Louis Cunningham as Maudie and Alain Astin as Trude.
