NEW DELHI: England star Jude Bellingham was involved in a heated confrontation with Argentina players after England’s heartbreaking 2-1 defeat in the FIFA World Cup 2026 semifinal at the Atlanta Stadium in Atlanta on Wednesday.A video that went viral on social media showed Bellingham first shaking hands with Argentina goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez before walking towards defender Valentin Barco in an aggressive manner. The England midfielder then appeared to tap Barco on the back of the head. The incident turned into a heated exchange, where players from both teams pushed each other.During the game, another video also showed that Bellingham had an argument with the captain of Argentina, Lionel Messi.
