Skoda Kodiaq RS sold out: Disappeared in six minutes! Skoda Kodiaq RS sold out in India |
Škoda Auto India started bookings for the new Kodiaq RS yesterday, June 23, 2026. The limited-edition SUV quickly attracted a lot of interest from enthusiasts across the country. And now the company has announced that all 50 units allotted to India have been sold out within just six minutes of bookings opening. Since all 50 units have been sold out, it remains to be seen whether Škoda Auto India will allocate additional Kodiaq RS units for the Indian market.

Skoda will import the SUV variants as a completely built unit (CBU) and it is expected to be priced between Rs 50 lakh and Rs 55 lakh (ex-showroom). The new Skoda Kodiaq RS will be powered by a 2.0-liter, 4-cylinder turbo gasoline engine that produces 265 hp and 400 Nm of torque. Compared to the regular Kodiaq, the RS delivers an additional 60 hp and 80 Nm of torque. Namely, the engine is tuned identically to the unit that powers the Octavia RS and Golf GTI. It comes mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, which sends power to all four wheels. The Kodiaq RS also benefits from improved braking components, including slotted brake discs and twin-piston front calipers. However, it remains unclear whether the Indian model will get adaptive suspension, a feature currently offered on international versions of the high-performance SUV. The Kodiaq RS retains the standard model’s three-row layout and overall silhouette, but adds a few RS-specific styling cues. These include a gloss-black grille, Matrix LED headlights, a revised front bumper with larger air intakes, RS badging, blacked-out exterior elements, red brake calipers and larger alloy wheels up to 20 inches in overseas markets. At the rear, the SUV gets RS badging, a redesigned bumper with black inserts, connected LED taillights with blacked-out trim, a roof spoiler and black roof racks. International markets also get exclusive colors such as Hyper Green, although India-specific color options are yet to be announced. Inside, the cabin largely mirrors the standard Kodiaq, but gains sports seats with integrated headrests, leather and suede upholstery, red contrast stitching and RS badging throughout.Expected features include a 12.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 13-speaker Canton audio system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, power tailgate, 360-degree camera, park assist, power driver’s seat with memory function, heated front seats, tri-zone climate control, ambient lighting, keyless entry, and a panoramic sunroof. Safety equipment is expected to include nine airbags, ESC, ABS with EBD, traction control, electronic differential lock, brake assist, hill start assist, hill descent control, ISOFIX mounts and ADAS level 2.
